DEEP LOCK DOMAIN

In fact, all Deep Lock Domain is composed by an archipelago of those floating islands, some of those islands are as big or even bigger than Home Island, containing its own creatures and societies, others so small or dangerous that no intellectual society could be built. Each archipelago has its own bioma, yet all Deep Lock Domain has regular seasons. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

Some say that the floatings islands are held together by the massive roots of three titanic trees where the three Great Spirits lives. Others rather bet that the islands are held in mid air by the mystic force field of a special Crystal called Feathered Geode, an anti-gravity crystal that can hold huge amounts of weight during a certain period of time. When this time ends the Feathered Geode stops floating and becomes what is called an Empty Gem, and if managed correctly, can be blessed to hold spiritual powers.

Portals

In all Deep Lock Domain there are dimensional cracks hidden in specific places that can lead you to worlds way different than this one, where even more strange creatures live, some are trustworthy, while others might not be as welcoming.

GEOGRAPHY AND BIOLOGY

Home Island

The Gemmer's Canyon and the RexBirb Tepui are located in a huge place called Home Island, where other creatures also build their villages, cities and even kingdoms. There are sirens in the waters, satyrs in the mountais, harpies in the skies and a lot of unknown creatures within the island limits.

The Island is not surrounded by water, but by the deepest of the abyss. Some say that it's so deep and huge that the Island is Floating above nowhere.

It’s possible to find some very interesting fauna all around the islands, flora and geodes that have their very own special properties, such as:

Salmary

Salmaries are bushes with round blobby leaves that can be used to create an energy drink, it makes you feel energetic and awake for a long period of time, it must be used carefully because its overdose can result in a heart attack.

Gimprest

Gimprests are herbs found in old tree trunks, its smells can make you chill and its leaves can be used to create a soothing drink used as sleeping aid, it must be used carefully because its overdose can result in fatal hypotension.

Cendals are succulents found near creeks, its leaves don't have any effect yet its bulbs contain a liquid inside of it that has anesthetic effects, it must be used carefully because its regular use can result in addiction.

Curtailer

Curtailers are bushes found in dark places, its leaves have a very bitter taste but it can be used as a pregnancy prevention, making females unable to create eggs and males unable to generate reproductive cells. Trans creatures use this help in their transition.

Temptation Fruit

Temptation fruits are found in short trees next to rivers only during spring. Inside of it there’s a very juicy pulp and a few small seeds, it has a very sweet taste and eating it results in an aphrodisiac effect. Using it too much can result in loss of libido.

Eterner

Eterners are small fish-looking algae that can dislocate through water just like fishes do, since they do photosynthesis they don’t need to eat, it's often to see Eterners inside little bottles in necklaces (see more about it in “Culture: Relationships”).

Gaia Stone

Those are elemental stones found in places where those elements have a strong power in nature. Those elements include: fire, used to warm up; thunder, used as batteries; earth to help plants grow; water to keep a place humidified; ice to keep places cool; wind to make small objects float and light to keep a place lit.

Trail Loster

Trail Losters are yellow colored pebbles that have a very subtle smell that can make you confused, making people forget where they came from. Creatures use these pebbles to protect their territories and make strangers feel lost in their exploration.
