Do you have a Gen 1 RexBirb and would like to turn them into a Gen 2 RexBirb? It's really simple! You just need to read the details about it below!

Greetings DeepLock inhabitants! It's awesome to see you around. There's a strong energy around the RexNest, some say it's the bless of our great spirits, others says it's DeepLock itself... All I know is that it will help you in a powerful transition... Are you ready for this?

Since the species passed through a big revamp, with a complete new lore, a new trait list and new species features, we decided to split our Masterlist in two: All RexBirbs created before the update of ownership will be in the "Generation One" folder and we won't be forcing anyone to do the transition, you can keep them the way they are as a Gen 1 even if having illegal traits for a Gen 2. We will still update the ownerships on the Gen 1 masterlists but we won't be evaluating redesigns nor will be updating the masterlist images to a new one. If you'd like to redesign your RexBirb you'd need to convert them into a Gen 2. We'll be doing it this way because we don't have proper knownledge of how the old rules used to be applied since we didn't work on the past rules ~

If you have a Gen 1 and would like to turn them into a Gen 2 all you need to do is a redesign to adjust them into the new rules and designs features and then send for us on our discord server to be evaluated. By doing this your RexBirb will be transfered to the "Generation Two" folder in the Masterlist and will receive a Masterlist Number. Having a Gen 2 RexBirb will allow you get event items to add new traits on them! They will also be able to Ascend: By doing this they will be able to have a strong magic ability!

Just have in mind that you can't turn back a Gen 2 Rexbirb into a Gen 1 after the update is done. So be sure you really want to turn them into a Gen 2 before submitting your redesign!

If your RexBirb have a trait that's not available anymore you'll need to remove those in their redesign. Although you'll be able to choose another trait of the same rarity for your Birb. For example: If your Gen 1 RexBirb had wings on back, wich was a rare trait, you'll be able to pick a rare trait from our current Trait List (For Example: Hood, MegaBirb, NanoBirb, etc).
Please be sure to keep all the other traits and colors of your RexBirb! They will be a redesign and not an entire new design!

Visual Guide and Traits Change

To turn your Gen 1 RexBirb into a Gen 2 some changes will be required. You can see a visual example below of how a Gen 1 look and how a Gen 2 will look by doing the changes:

Gen 1 to Gen 2

Anatomy Change: You'll need to entirely remove the arms of your RexBirb and keep the Forearms only. Small shoulder nubs are ok, you just can't do the small arm part on this. Fur/Feathers tufts are ok on the shoulders place!

Traits Change: Some traits are illegal for Gen 2 RexBirbs, these traits are not listed on the trait list so if your RexBirb have them you'll need to remove it if you'd like to go for the Gen 2. When they have illegal traits you'll be able to pick new traits of the same rarity while redesigning your RexBirb into a Gen 2. In this design you can see the Gen 1 with Hooves and Wings on Back, illegal traits for Gen 2. They were converted for Plant Growth and Glitter on the Gen 2 design example.

All the other traits and colors must remain the same, so both have the same tail length, spikes, ears and horns.
Here's the Trait Rarity Conversion:

Gen 1 → Gen 2
:bulletgreen: Common→ :bulletblue: Common
:bulletyellow: Uncommon → :bulletgreen: Uncommon
:bulletorange:  Rare → :bulletyellow: Rare
:bulletred:  Mythical → :bulletpurple: Legendary
:bulletpurple: Legendary/God → :bulletwhite: Mystic

NOTE: Have in mind that some trait rarities may be upgraded or downgraded on the Gen 2. So please do not complain if a trait of your RexBirb get the rarity downgraded during the transition. If you're after a RexBirb with a specific trait rarity be sure to check in the trait list and illustrated guides how the trait is classified.

ALSO NOTE: The old MYOs will need to follow the Gen2 rules/guides. The old MYOs will be converted to the new trait limitation, although we'll keep the amount of legendary traits (stated as myth traits on Gen1) since it was paid separately in the past.

That's it! Simple huh? We hope you have fun working on your Gen 2 RexBirb if you'd like to!
