GEOGRAPHY
CITADEL
The Citadel is the center of the Gemmer's Canyon. It has a central tower where Hornthropods spend most of their day time working, learning or distracting themselves. There we have the top tower where Cardinals work. Depending on their roles they do different jobs. Elafrý for example must categorize everything to be officialized and evaluate rules written by Omoi'kai before it's announced by Eydeen, and so on…
Then, below it, their mail center is located, where letters and orders are compiled and redistributed not only for themselves but also for the outside world. It is the same place where documents are sent off, such as forms, merits and entries. There are big rooms for public meetings and also It's where they can find answers to their common questions and check their balances in the Treasury.
In the bottom of the main tower it has a huge public library where Hornthropods can learn more about themselves and also about the outside world.
And around the central tower is the Trading Fair, where Hornthropods sell their souvenirs, it can be anything found outside or inside the Gemmer's Canyon or even products and/or services they can offer.
GEMMER'S CANYON
On the top of the Gemmer's Canyon there are several trees where the Horned Insects live, ants, butterflies, bees, moths, etc... There are several Horned Insect who live there and build their homes between the trees, above the canyon fall. They usually work collecting fruits, honey, fungus and tree barks, the bravest ones hunt near the canyon, going outside of their territory but not too far.
Usually Horned Insects in this lifestyle are friendly and open to new relationships, are curious and enjoy exploring the world beyond the canyon.
In the middle of the Gemmer's Canyon, in the caverns, there lives the Horned Arachnids, spiders, scorpions, opilions, etc... They build their homes inside these caves.
Usually horned spiders work producing and selling their silk, some can create common silk which can be used to create clothes and some can create a very special silk which can be used to create light armors for the fighters.
Some horned arachnids can be born with Raw Gem, which provides them melee powers, which makes them perfect fighters, protecting not only their caves but the whole canyon as the good guards they are.
Horned Arachnids in this lifestyle usually are cold with others, their behavior is not very friendly and it's hard to get their trust, because of this it's hard to see horned arachnids outside of the Gemmer's Canyon's territory.
And finally, Horned Crustaceans, they live in the very bottom of the Gemmer's Canyon where the waterfalls touch the gemmed rocks and make the canyon a beautiful landscape, it's much harder for the crustaceans to leave their natural habitat and it makes them the rarest horned subspecies.
Aquatic crustaceans are natural treasure collectors, they can grow very attached to their own objects, aquatic horned crustaceans can breath underwater and search for precious lost objects the river brings in.
Some horned crustaceans can be born with a pearl inside their Gem, which provides them healing powers, which makes them the most skilled witchdoctors of the Gemmer's Canyon.
PERIPHERIES
Around the Gemmer's Canyon there is a huge grove called The Peripheries, the edge of the Gemmer's Canyon and the limits of their territories, this is the place where the most skilled hunters go to find their preys, and it's also where the guards lives keeping the most dangerous creatures away from the Canyon and also watching for fugitive Hornthropods trying to go outside the Canyon, if they don't have an authorization to go outside they will be brought back.
