Species Rules

General Rules

• Be friendly and nice to other group members, admins and yourself;

• Avoid starting or entering on dramas;

• Do not argue with any of the admins or mods when they say a decision is final;

• Only designated guest artists have rights to create Hornthropods/RexBirbs adopts with LightGem/Gosetsuki's permission;

• Do not create or sell unofficial Hornthropods/RexBirbs;

• Do not buy unofficial Hornthropods/RexBirbs;

• Do not attempt to scam people in the community;

• Do not fake your identity (name, age, etc);

• Do not evade bans (making a new account, sending unbanned friends to harass other users, etc);

• All official Hornthropods/RexBirbs have a masterlist entry. It is your responsibility to fact check for this when someone is offering a Hornthropods/RexBirbs. As a member of the group, you have every right to ask for proof of a Hornthropods/RexBirb's legitimacy;

• We don't void designs even if it's made by you;

Owning Rules

Owning a Hornthropod/RexBirb entitles you to:

• Create a name/gender/personality/backstory for them;

• Allow who can draw your Hornthropod/RexBirb, including free art events;

• Enter on Hornthropods/RexBirbs community events;

• Create AUs of your Hornthropod/RexBirb. For example: Human forms, other species forms, other closed species forms (check the other closed species rules)etc.

Owning a Hornthropod/RexBirb doesn't allow you to:

• Use Hornthropods/RexBirbs for monetary purposes;

• Claim Hornthropods/RexBirbs as your own species nor claim the design as your own unless it is a MYO design;

• Co-own with another user. Hornthropods/RexBirbs may only be owned under one member's username;

• You're not allowed to design/redesign your Hornthropod/RexBirb heavily based on a copyrighted character. For example: You can get inspired by the pikachu character and design your Hornthropod/RexBirb with some features they have but it cannot be recognized as a pikachu Hornthropod/RexBirb design itself.

NSFW Rules

• By owning a Hornthropod/RexBirb you're allowed to get NSFW (+18) art for them;

• NSFW art of Faethropods or child Hornthropods/RexBirbs are strictly prohibited;

• Do not post NSFW art in our groups;

• If a Hornthropod/RexBirb gallery contains NSFW art you must delete the art pieces before trading the Hornthropod/RexBirb to avoid minors getting it;

• Adult (18+) users may ask for the art to be kept but ONLY when receiving the Hornthropod/RexBirb from another adult user;

• We, from DeepLock, are not responsible for your age while getting NSFW art.

Selling and Trading

Selling:

• Your Hornthropod/RexBirb must be on the masterlist account before it is eligible for trading/selling/gifting;

• Free MYOs are NOT allowed to be sold unless you have commissioned artwork of them. This does not include art drawn by you, art trades or gift art given to you for free;

• The base value of each Hornthropod/RexBirb is on their ML entries. Getting paid art, items, etc, can increase the value of the Hornthropod but we won't add it on the ML. It's up to each owner to know the money spent on the character but DO NOT fake their price;

• Hornthropods/RexBirbs are only allowed to be sold for the price they were purchased for + commissions you may have bought for them, as well as any purchased items from the Theodore's Item Shop;

• Physical Items, such as plushies or fursuits, do not count towards a Hornthropod/RexBirb's total value UNLESS the new owner decide to receive the items. This rule exists to avoid the new owner being forced to purchase a physical item that they may not have room for it, may not be comfortable giving their address, or simply may not want the item;

• Crystalia Coins spent in the Trading Fair or on commissions count towards a Hornthropod/RexBirb's monetary worth. $1 = 1 Crystalia Coin;

• Items from Ciel's shop doesn't have a monetary value, that means that these items won't increase in the Hornthropod/RexBirb value;

• Any type of Hornthropod/RexBirb (MYOs, adopts, etc.) is allowed to be traded for other Hornthropods/RexBirbs, designs, art, customs, etc;

• When a Hornthropod/RexBirb is traded for another character with a higher value this DO NOT increase in the Hornthropod/RexBirb value. Fore example, trading a Hornthropod/RexBirb that worth $20 for a character that worth $100 won't make your Hornthropod/RexBirb have a higher value;

• A Hornthropod/RexBirb can be traded for a voucher that exceeds its worth. For example, buying an adopt that worth $100  and receiving a Hornthropod/RexBirb that worth $40 is allowed; 

• However the Hornthropod/RexBirb's value won't increase by paying for a voucher of a higher value. For example, the $40 still worth $40 after being traded for a voucher of $100; 

• When you ask for a voucher you're NOT allowed to receive the money directly, it's technically a resale, and resales can not exceed the Hornthropod/RexBirb price;

• The old and the new owner must comment in the Masterlist Info and Updates journal to have the Hornthropod/RexBirb's ownership updated. If it doesn't happen the old owner will still count as the official owner of the Hornthropod/RexBirb.

Bans and Blacklist

Ban: Being banned means being kicked out of species community by violating the rules and not cooperate with the species admins/mods to fix the issues.

• You will still have ownership over your Hornthropods/RexBirbs and you'll be able to trade them for other Hornthropods/RexBirbs;

• You won't be allowed to join any species events nor getting new official adopts;

• You'll be allowed to ask to have your Hornthropods/RexBirbs included in other users entries tho.

Blacklist: Your name and all your Hornthropod/RexBirb's masterlists will go to our private blacklist if you commit a serious mistake (such as scam) or if you get banned and keep violating species rules (such as attacking members).

• It will have a warning in all your Hornthropod/RexBirb's masterlists showing that they're blacklisted;

• You will be prohibited to join any species event and you won't be allowed to ask others to include your Hornthropod/RexBirb(s) in their entries;

• You won't be allowed to get new official adopts;

• You will still have ownership over your Hornthropods but you won't be allowed to trade your Hornthropods/RexBirbs for other Hornthropods/RexBirbs;

• You'll be allowed to gift, sale (for the Hornthropod/RexBirb's worth) or trade your Hornthropods/RexBirbs for any non-Hornthropod/RexBirb designs;

• If the design is transferred to a member who is not blacklisted, the design will be re-listed as a valid Hornthropod/RexBirb able to participate in the group again.

Our strike system:

• Disrespecting a rule once will result in a warning;

• Disrespecting same rule again will result in a strike;

• Accumulating 3 warnings result in a strike. any new warnings result in a strike;

By owning a Hornthropod you're agreeing with all the rules.

Breaking a rule and saying you didn't know about the rule isn't a good excuse as everyone is obligated to know them and agreeing with them when entering the species.
